Welcome to Frog Hollow Fly Fishing home of the Hawgs. Hello my name is Kenny Simmons I live here and manage the river section on the family farm.
As a world travel fish junky and professional guide, I can honestly say here at Frog Hollow we have some of the best fly rod fishing in the world. We have a reputation known for large challenging to catch trophy trout. Our secluded peace of heaven is a breath taking scenery that runs along the scenic Chestatee River just outside the small town of Dahlonega, Georgia, perfectly located at the foothills of the North Georgia Mountains with the perfect river conditions for hosting a high concentration of quality trophy trout. Our section of the river is clear natural spring fed water with a spectacular waterfall, with deep pools and long runs, loaded with rich natural food that produces a variety of colorful trout. It is my job and I do my best to encourage and maintain a high number of quality trout. It makes me proud and excited to see a good number of quality trophy trout call Frog Hollow home, especially those in the 24” to 30” range.
Frog Hollow is guided fly fishing only, barbless, catch and release. We limit the river to one client/group at a time to assure privacy. Our river access has easy to moderate accessibility.
