Welcome to Frog Hollow Fly Fishing
Do you want to catch a Trophy trout on a fly rod? If so, come to Frog Hollow on the Chestatee River in North Georgia near Dahlonega. From Atlanta, it's about a 1 hour drive from the junction of I-285 and GA-400.
You will be fishing in the picturesque valley of Frog Hollow. With almost 1/2 mile of river to fish, there is easy access with a variety of different waters to fish. There are pools with long runs, fast water with lots of rock outcroppings and a water fall with a deep pool below it.

2nd ANNUAL GOLD RUSH CUP, FLY FISHING CHALLENGE AT FROG HOLLOW
Frog Hollow will again be hosting the Gold Rush Cup, Fly Fishing Challenge. The following is a summary of the event:
Saturday, November 6th will be an Amateur Qualifier. The winner will move on to compete in the Gold Rush Cup. Fishing Guides or anyone who is involved in a commercial enterprise that involves trout fishing will not be allowed to enter in the Amateur Qualifier. A two man Qualifier Team can enter for $250.
The Gold Rush Cup will be on Sunday, November 7th. The entry fee per two man team will be $500 as it was last year. The grand prize this year will be raised to $1500 plus two custom rods and more.

CASTING FOR CONFIDENCE 2009
Frog Hollow Fly Fishing hosted this Georgia Women Flyfishers event on Saturday October 17. The event is held for breast cancer survivors, especially those beginning to resume normal physical activity after mastectomy or other surgery. There is no cost for the fly fishing instruction and activities and equipment that is provided for the day. 22 breast cancer survivors participated.
